Last year I had the privilege to join a theological conference in Cambridge, UK. During that conference one thing that struck me was that the leaders of the conference had memorized many bible verses. On the last day I realized that this is something I should do more in my life. So I went on and asked some of the elders in the conference which verses they think are a must for every christian. Here is the collection of these verses and will gradually try to study these myself.

Romans 5:1-6
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—
Romans 12:1-2
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect

The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked

who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
